Bushrangers – Ned Kelly

Bushrangers – Ned Kelly

NedKelly

Ned Kelly is perhaps the most iconic Australian bushranger. His metal armour and helmet alone are impressive. Whatever your take on history – there is no doubt that Ned had courage and felt that he was standing up against an unjust system. At age 11 Kelly saved a young boy from drowning in a creek and was awarded a green sash in recognition of his bravery. He wore the sash under his armour during his last stand at Glenrowan. It is still stained with his blood.
